"For me, the perfect socks are lightweight with cushion year round for everything. I wear no-shows or quarters in the summer, and micro crews the rest of the year. I have 16 pair of the micro crews and I wear each pair for a week before throwing them in the laundry. With all the different color combinations and designs, I love throwing them all into a big pile in my sock drawer, then reaching in blind to grab 2 socks and wearing whatever mismatch is in my hands for the entire week - loads of fun, especially when people notice and comment ;)"

the only socks that don't give me blisters

"I'm not sure if it's just luck, but of all of the wool sock brands that I've tried, over hundreds of miles hiked, darn tough is the only one that I have not gotten a blister in. I'm no through hiker, but after 2 years and hundreds of miles, they are still holding up pretty well. I wear a size 9.5/10 shoe (43ish) and mediums fit perfectly."

"I’ve worn these for hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and just kicking around town, and they’ve become one of those pairs I keep reaching for. They’re light, comfortable, and do a great job managing sweat without feeling overly padded. They stay put, don’t bunch up, and work equally well with hiking boots or MTB shoes. I like that I can wear them on the trail all day, throw them on for a ride, or just wear them casually and never really think about them. They’ve also held up well after repeated use and washing, which is what I expect from Darn Tough. "Just spent last month in Scotland hiking Skye and the Highland trail as well as the Cairngorms. These socks are super comfy and dry really quickly when wet. Both are key to hiking in rainy Scotland. Spent this past week in Iceland exploring waterfalls and hiking to see the world’s largest puffin colony. These socks experience was better because of Darn Tough socks!
