"I just bought 3 more pairs of lightweight socks. I bought my first 2 pairs - one light and one heavy - in 2020. They are both still going strong. That cannot be said for the probably 15-20 additional socks I bought elseplaces in the interim trying to find a cheaper alternative. I am back because there isn't if you care about quality and sustainability. I hand wash and line dry though they need to washed much less frequently because of the merino wool. However, they do shrink a bit so size up."
