They are put together very well and look like they'll be able to handle any shoe and any activity. "I wore the socks once after washing them. They seemed a little short. The first wear of the socks was a tough first day on the job for them as I wore them to cut wood. I needed to pick wood chips off them before washing them and when they came out of the dryer the sock were already beginning to pill. I don't like this in a sock."

"These socks are great for doing just about anything! I’ve worn them to work which involved multiple hours standing and walking and they felt great even in work boots. looking to match darn tough socks I already wear -- can't find measurements for standard crew lightweight lifestyle or micro crew. The ones I have measure 7" heel to top just lying flat, 8" when wearing.
