"The size runs small - I'm a 9EE but had to get the XL (11-12) for a comfortable fit. So far they're holding up. I'd love it if the socks had sizes stitched into the toe or the top. Right now I'm having trouble distinguishing the XL socks I bought from the original L I got - until I try to pull them on. The biggest unexpected benefit is that I'm not finding bits of sock between my toes and on my rug anymore. If for no other reason, that's worth the purchase!"

"The lifestyle sock is too tight all over! It fits like an athletic sock, no bunching, or movement, and ready for the wearer to push footwork to the limits. But a lifestyle sock should fit comfortably, with enough room and stretch to feel cozy, and not provide excessive squeezing! Great overall quality, but needs re-engineering to achieve the proper level of comfort for the intended purpose. Had to return the socks… maybe the next version will be a better one."

"These socks are absolutely amazing. As a new person to become a customer of darn tough, I was very skeptical and purchased only one pair. After my first pair arrived and I tried them out for 12 hours in 105° summer weather. I was absolutely shocked when I took off my boots and there was barely an odor, at all! Very snug fit compared to other DT Large socks

"The socks seem to be constructed to the same high quality as my other DT socks. The padding is minimal on the foot and overall the sock fits very snug . . much more than any other DT sock I own. The first pair I tried I thought they sent the wrong size and then I tried the 2nd pair and it fit the same. Compared to my SW dress socks, these are not as comfortable or soft and fit much tighter. For reference re: sizing, I own 10 different types of DT socks, all in Large"

looking to match darn tough socks I already wear -- can't find measurements for standard crew lightweight lifestyle or micro crew. The ones I have measure 7" heel to top just lying flat, 8" when wearing.
