I literally only own Darn Tough socks. I kinda want to see how good their customer service is, but their durability prevents me from it.

I recently had a fit issue a certain sock style. I contacted Darn Tough, and they stood behind their guarantee (it's not just words). I could not have been more pleasantly surprised by their excellent customer service. The new socks fit perfectly. I love them!

Darn Tough socks have lasted longer than any sock I have ever owned. I did recently have a pair develop some thin spots and holes in high wear areas and Darn Tough replaced them no questions asked.

Best socks ever and the lifetime guarantee is real. I sent a 5 year old pair back because some stitching came loose, I got a credit for another pair. BOOM just like that.

Can't wait to take advantage of your lifetime guarantee, but so far our socks just won't wear out. I think we have a pair that is at least 10 years old and worn often. They just keep going strong.

On September 21, 2024, aiming to better serve our customers, we removed previously listed warranty conditions, including inadvertent damage. Please note that socks purchased as seconds or irregulars are not covered by our warranty.

FAQ: Lifetime Warranty Program

We will replace your socks free of charge:

  1. If they are not the most comfortable, durable and best-fitting socks you can buy. In a nutshell, if you wear a hole in them, we will replace them free of charge.
  2. If your socks are inadvertently damaged. As long as we can tell that they were once a pair of Darn Tough socks, our warranty will apply.

All claims made in good faith will be considered.

It is easy to file a warranty claim with us online. Please complete this form to start your claim.

We strive to process your claims within 2-3 business days of receiving your claim. During peak season, it may take us a bit longer.

We reply to all warranty claim forms within two days of receiving them. If it’s been longer than two business days and you haven’t seen a response, please check your spam or junk folder.

If there is nothing in your junk mail, please reach out to our support team.

No, when a customer alters the sock in any way, through resizing or dyeing, they have voided our warranty. Dyes are chemicals that can adversely affect the materials we use to make our socks, and resizing socks damages their structural integrity.

If you want to extend the life of your socks by darning them, we will still cover them under our warranty when you do eventually need to replace them.

As long as there's enough of your sock remaining that you can send it back to us and we can tell it was once a Darn Tough sock, we'll cover it. Even if there are more holes than sock left.

Yes, please submit all pairs on a single warranty claim. There is a field on our warranty form to note how many pairs you need to claim.

No sock registration required. All you need when filing a warranty claim with us is a complete pair of Darn Tough socks. We knit our name on all our socks, so we know where they came from, no receipts or proof of purchase required.

We unconditionally guarantee our socks for life. If they’re not the most comfortable, durable, best fitting socks you’ve ever worn, return them for another pair. In return, we ask that you submit any warranty claims in the country from which they were purchased. You can find the international warranty contact information by country here

If you are unable to do so, we’re happy to work with you directly to process your claim. Please keep in mind, however, that in cases such as these customers are responsible for all international shipping-related costs.
