Really disappointing for Darn Tough quality

"I have many Darn Tough socks and love them and they've lasted for years. When I paid EU 103. 70 for three pairs of these socks, I was floored already by the crazy price and then to my surprise these shocks all reeked of a chemical smell , had threads coming out of them in many places and these especially had mistake markings in several places (seeing blue stitch over the yellow etc. ). I had to buy a special tool to fix them myself and the only reason I kept them was because I was refunded the EU 103. 70 but still had to pay CHF 25 in import taxes. Darn Tough was really great in trying to find a solution but I had to push to get them to realize that this is not acceptable quality especially for this price. Now I no longer trust that their socks are the same quality as they used to be and probably won't buy them again. It's really a shame."
