Awesome socks

"Darn tough are great socks! Our whole family loves them. Amazing how well they wear even for my husband who can wear a whole in a normal pair of socks in a 2-3 months but Darn tough will last 8-10 months! Darn tough warranty is awesome! You send a pair in with holes and you immediately get allowance for a new pair!! I tell everyone about Darn Tough Socks!!!’"

— Peggy B. (5/5)

A devoted user

"Great socks, I’ve been flooded with marketing from another wool sock company . Unfazed . I love what you manufacture. If I had a wish for me it would be to make a compression sock. I have to wear compression socks over my darn tough socks. My legs need support and my feet need your wool socks and cushion. I have one question . Why do the work socks look like traffic cones? One day I’ll Tell you the story how two socks on one hand saved my hand from much pain and suffering. I have hyperthermia hammer syndrome in my right hand. it’s from using my palm As a 3 pound sledge hammer. The socks probably saved me from loosing three fingers . Thank you."

— John H. (5/5)

I'm wearing a pair right

"I'm wearing a pair right now and have been using them with my work boots. I love the comfort, so soft, and as the weather is turning, they keep my feet nice and warm. I'm sure they will last many years and I will still enjoy them just as much."

— Randy Y. (5/5)

Super Cozy

"Bought these as a birthday present, and he loved them. Exceptional quality, super cozy weight, and built to last."

— Rory B. (5/5)

Darn tough for a reason

"These socks are the first ones I grab as soon as they hit the sock drawer after a wash. They feel great before during and after my 10 hour shift on my feet and they don’t feel drenched in sweat when the job is done. They even show zero signs of wear. I’ll definitely be getting more soon."

— Christian M. (5/5)

SIZE

"The sock is awesome! Perfect for a work sock! Perfect for all seasons! Plenty of padding! The only thing I would strongly advise, is that, before you purchase, measure your foot as if measuring for a shoe size. And that size would be your corresponding sock size. Do not buy socks according to the shoe size that you wear. If you do, the socks will be too big and the cushioning in the socks will be misaligned with your feet."

— Charles I. (5/5)

No faults

"Did I NEED new socks? No Did I WANT new socks? Sort of Am I GLAD I got new socks? ABSOLUTELY! Perfect weight, not too thick. Light cushioning. Not too much compression. All day comfort."

— donald p. (5/5)

These are the only socks

"These are the only socks I wear they are great quality and Darn Tough stands behind every pair they sell. Due to wearing boots my big toe would always put holes in my socks but several years ago I tried a pair of these socks and they hold up great."

— Gerald A. (5/5)

What’s the biggest difference between the steely and the John Henry??
Hi Haydon! The John Henry style has terry loop cushioning underfoot, over the ankle, and in the leg for strategic protection against boot lace pressure where as the steely socks have soft terry loops underfoot and around the leg, plus a fully cushioned toe box to pair with steel toe boots.

I wear a size 12 EW Wellington boot. I want the socks above the boot and not falling down. What size do you recommend?
Hi Mark, our Large ranges from 10-12. Due to the snug, performance fit of our socks some customers with wide feet, who also fall on the upper end of a size run, do find the next size up to be most comfortable.
