Tortuous and misleading warranty policy

"Sock developed a hole after only wearing it twice. Submitted a warranty claim online and then began a long back/forth with customer service who made new demands each round including instructions to cut the sock in half and send photographic evidence. Did that only to now be told that I will only receive «points» rather than a replacement sock. Simply awful !"

"I used Hiker Boot Midweight Hiking Sock Mens for 13months19days(1pair per weekday) before a hole appeared, warranty works. I do property maintenance, which also includes: plowing snow, moving grass and walking in ditches. . . so the shoes wear on socks due to movement. I loved the Darn Tough socks, decided to try these through warranty (they feel the same) lets see how long before I've worn a hole in these."
