A great pair of socks!

"I'm very impressed with these "Close Encounters" socks which I purchased via Amazon - they took me on a 12 mile hike last week with no problems at all. They seemed very strong, cushioned my feet nicely, and they didn't shrink at all in the wash (when washing according to the instructions: I machine washed them in cold water on gentle cycle with socks inside-out, then tumble dried them on low). I ordered two pairs for my daughter and another three pairs for myself. If I had to criticize them, I'd say they were a little tight in the ankle/calf area, but I'm sure they will loosen a bit with wear."

Wet socks bckpacking? NO Problem
