Darn tough socks always

"Bought these after receiving a few pairs years ago that became “lost” during a FTX. They were my favorite socks and Darn Tough truly stands behind their warranty to replace after holes etc. I have had many other brands that are slightly less expensive but when they get holes or tears I’m out the $ spent. So getting these was a no brainer no hot spots with 65lb ruck over 18 miles of Alaska Tussocks/wet lands. They dry quick enough that two pair for a week+ adventure. Great socks, great company and made in Murica!"

The best socks bar none.

"I first used DT socks 7 years ago going through ranger school. Zero blisters the entire time and I still have most of those pairs. The only time I have to buy more is when they get lost to the laundry somehow. I use them daily, but also for high load, long duration events like ruck marches, army courses, and elk packouts in Colorado. Pro tip: buy medium cushion in one color and heavy cushion in another. Makes it easier to sort through."

"Best sock I’ve had n I am one year shy of 70. Yeah, they cost more. You get what you pay for. Even in blistering hot Wx feet are nearly dry while every other piece of clothing is completely soaked in sweat. No tearing or fraying, not one thread. Just the right amount of stretch. Go on easy. Come off easy. Comfy. Happy feet, happy everything else."

If the socks are washed using water that is too warm or dried with too high heat, then yes the socks can easily shrink.
