Fantastic all purpose socks!

"These socks are great for doing just about anything! I’ve worn them to work which involved multiple hours standing and walking and they felt great even in work boots. I’ve also biked and ran in them and I immediately noticed the difference in quality during my runs. My feet finally got the support I needed when running. One drawback was that they made my ankles and feet feel really hot so keep that in mind when running long distances or fast."

Sizes run small, but if you move up a size they're worth it

"The size runs small - I'm a 9EE but had to get the XL (11-12) for a comfortable fit. So far they're holding up. I'd love it if the socks had sizes stitched into the toe or the top. Right now I'm having trouble distinguishing the XL socks I bought from the original L I got - until I try to pull them on. The biggest unexpected benefit is that I'm not finding bits of sock between my toes and on my rug anymore. If for no other reason, that's worth the purchase!"

Too early to tell

"Five years ago I purchased several pairs of the Men's Standard Crew socks. After 5 years, they all wore out and Darn Tough replaced them under warranty. But since then I have started walking more and all the heels have worn out. Darn Tough suggested getting the cushioned socks that are made for hikers. They are only $1 more, so one by one I am replacing them once again. Hopefully, the thicker socks will last longer, but it's still too early to tell."

looking to match darn tough socks I already wear -- can't find measurements for standard crew lightweight lifestyle or micro crew. The ones I have measure 7" heel to top just lying flat, 8" when wearing.
