These are the only socks

"These are the only socks I wear they are great quality and Darn Tough stands behind every pair they sell. Due to wearing boots my big toe would always put holes in my socks but several years ago I tried a pair of these socks and they hold up great."

An everyday go-to sock that lasts.

"Its awesome that Darn Tough creates socks for so many uses and weather. From hot summer days to cold winter hunting, Darn Tough has a sock for you. Whether you like to make a statement or just need some reliable everyday work sock, Darn Tough has the colors and options to get you what you need. And I can't state it enough that I love how long lasting they are! The lifetime warranty is fantastic too. These socks are really worth every penny. This particular pair are great everyday go to for comfort and long lasting work sock. Thank you Darn Tough for making and providing a great product I am proud to share with others."

Darn Tough

"Breathable, comfortable, durable. These are perfect for me to wear on duty, and can even go for multiple days in a row when I am in the field. Unlike some other companies that fall off in quality I feel like darn tough gets better every year."

Nicholas P. (5/5)

Good quality socks

"So far so good! Haven't really worn them enough but the benefits of them are worth it as far as cushioning and cooling. Feet definitely don't stink when wearing them! Love the feel of em, super comfy. I air dry them when washing."

Poked Holes in EVERY SINGLE PAIR Within a Month

"First off, I'll say see my review on the Steely work socks. They're essentially this sock but far superior. As for these, I bought four pairs and all four poked holes in the seam right at the top of the toe box. Usually, each pair lasted a week or so. I am meticulous with how I wash and dry them, and only wash after every other wear or so. Their customer support, however, is phenomenal, hence why they sent me two pairs of Steely socks on the house as compensation. However, those still had the same problem. I'm going back to my Ariat work socks as they fared far better for me, but for the individual who wants a comfortable, true-to-size, no stink sock and as long as you don't wear steel toes or do anything that could be considered hard on a sock, you're in luck. Is it worth the price? That's up to you to decide."

Another great pair!

"Great socks, super comfortable in hot weather (I haven’t used them in cold weather yet). The cushion is what you’d expect. It will take up a little space in your boot, but these made my boots fit just right. I’m slowly swapping all my socks out for Darn Tough!!"

Adam S. (5/5)

These socks last and last. We'll worth the money.

"I ordered these socks many years ago. I wore them for work 5 days a week. They lasted longer then any socks ever. When they started to get thread bare I didn't feel right to return them for replacement. I just feel that nothing lasts forever. That is why I ordered these again knowing the quality of the socks. I"

This is my first time

"This is my first time trying Darn Tough socks. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and fit. I liked them so much, I just ordered two pair of the medium cushion crew. The company is very responsive and the ship time is great."

Awesome socks. I own the

"Awesome socks. I own the Steelys too and these are just as comfortable in steel toe boots all day long."

Go to socks

"Best socks I’ve owned, I will always go back to these. Also great customer service. I have talked to a couple of them and they are always super helpful. Would recommend again and again."

Q&A

What size sock if man's shoe size is 9
A men's size 9 would fit well into a Medium which is knit to fit size 8 - 9.5!
What is the difference between the John Henry and the William Jarvis socks?
Hi Jody! The main difference between these two styles is the cushioning. The William Jarvis style is full cushion socks feature terry loop padding from toe to cuff for maximum comfort and protection in boots and the John Henry is features terry loop cushion underfoot, over the ankle, and in the leg for strategic protection against boot lace pressure.
What’s the biggest difference between the steely and the John Henry??
Hi Haydon! The John Henry style has terry loop cushioning underfoot, over the ankle, and in the leg for strategic protection against boot lace pressure where as the steely socks have soft terry loops underfoot and around the leg, plus a fully cushioned toe box to pair with steel toe boots.

I wear a size 12 EW Wellington boot. I want the socks above the boot and not falling down. What size do you recommend?
Hi Mark, our Large ranges from 10-12. Due to the snug, performance fit of our socks some customers with wide feet, who also fall on the upper end of a size run, do find the next size up to be most comfortable.
