Perfect for hot weather running!

"Background: I wear these while running and working out in Florida. They are great at preventing blisters, while breathing very well in high heat and humidity! How little they take on odor was a surprising perk. And of course. . . they take the beatings and washings and just keep going. Shape is right on, following the lines of the shoe, not too short or too tall. I go with the no-cushion version because shoe uppers/foams are so comfortable now. I'm a size-10 running shoe and tried both size medium and large Darn Toughs. Both fit well, the medium just feels noticeably compressive and the large feels like it's not there (but not at all loose). Hope that helps, and thank you to everyone at Darn Tough for making such great socks!"

Nothing to complain about as

"Nothing to complain about as yet. First run was a 13 mile low intensity run in and around the hillsides and wilderness of Missoula, MT. Gentle rising single tracks up creek valleys, stream crossing (ankle deep but feet all wet), rising through forested slopes over ridges and longer downhill switchbacks with gravel sections. Back to main trail drainage's, added showers and some mud. . . the socks never stressed the run (no blisters or rubbing). Fit tight, no interior movement regardless of terrain, drained and dried well with the weather and creek crossings. The socks held their shape and are ready for more wear. Great performance so far."

"Good socks, nice and lightweight and very comfortable. I am usually a size 9/9. 5 is US MEN and I bought the smaller socks, says i'm supposed to fit but they seem too tight for my foot. NBD, I will buy the next size up next time, then i'll compare the two sizes. These ones just fit now, so I can wear them for a bit. Idk how they will really fit after many washer & dryer loads."

"These socks are ao comfortable. They do not slip into your shoes, or rub your feet. They fit so well. I also have to comment on Darn Tough sock life time guarantee- we had a pair that developed a holea few minths after purchasing. . I took a picture sent it to Darn Tough who advised me ofnext steps. Within two- three weeks we had a new pair of socks, no questions asked. Darn Tough are excellent socks with an excellent life time warrants!!"

Q&A

Should I size up or down? Im a size 12 which is right on the line for sizing. I tend to wash and dry my socks so they might shrink a bit. The large range from size 10-12. A size 10 sock would be way too tight for me. Since I’m a solid size 12, should I go for the XL?
