My first ever dissatisfactory Dar Tough sock

"The second time I wore these socks, they immediately started sliding down around my heel and bunching up at the toes. I took my shoes off and pulled the socks up several times, and they kept sliding down. By the time I had walked about a mile, the left sock was almost completely bunched up around my toes, and the right sock was about halfway down and had somehow twisted 180° so the sock heel was on top of my foot. I have been wearing Darn Tough socks since 2012 and have never experienced anything like this. These socks are unwearable. My recommendation is to avoid them and get a mid weight instead."

No Better Sock

"I've tried every major and niche sock brand out there and these are the best. My main concern with socks is longevity, and I've never had a problem with these. They're very comfortable and have withstood a ridiculous amount of washes without developing holes. Due to the blend of the sock, I've never had a problem with feet sweating because of lack of breathability."

"I love these socks! They are great for every day wear and can also be used for more formal occasions. They never get too hot and never get too cold. I own three pair of these specific socks and have owned one of those pairs for at least 2 years. They really hold up. No loss of color, no distortion of shape. They really are amazing! Best Merino socks and they actually last

"I've tried Bombas version of merino socks, smartwool, patagonia, REI, and a bunch of other brands from sierra trading post. None of them last over the years and are as reliable and comfortable as Darn Toughs. They either are too loose knit and stretch too much, or they don't have enough stretch, or they stink after a day, or they get holes to easily, etc. Darn tough is the perfect merino sock and I'm done looking elsewhere!"
