"I hesitated buying darn tough socks because I knew I could not be perfectly careful in their care and didn't want to presume upon the amazing warranty. I wear stocking feet in the house all year long and sometimes run out to get the mail without bothering to put my shoes on. I also can't always prevent them from going in the dryer. But when it was time to buy new socks, I thought I'd take the plunge and try them out. The first thing I noticed is that these socks are so comfortable. Then I had to unpack from a trip during a rainstorm and my feet got soaking wet. I did not have time to change my socks for hours because of the schedule and I experienced firsthand the blessedness of wool. These socks made wet feet bearable! And the anti-stink properties are impressive. I wore one pair of darn tough socks on this week-long trip and packed one pair of darn tough socks. I also packed one pair of my old cotton socks "just in case" but I didn't need them at all, even with the rain! I'm a convert!"
